Measuring Up

In the most recent edition (April, 2016) of Obesity, one of the leading journals in our field, a series of articles was published representing a ‘call to action’ among obesity researchers and clinicians alike to help move our science forward.

Several commentaries, which were linked to papers in the same edition, related to timely issues, including biases in obesity and nutrition research, statistical and analytical errors in reporting obesity studies, placebo effects in obesity research, and important changes that occur in participants who are randomized to minimal intervention control groups, which is often done in RCTs.

If you’re interested in research and evaluation in the field of obesity, there’s probably something in here for you.
